How to become a Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center Member

Mission

The mission of The Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center (AEMRC) is to improve the quality of care for patients with emergent and episodic medical problems through the development and administration of high quality research and innovative educational programs.

It is the goal of the AEMRC to encourage collaborative relationships and to support its research objectives within the defined research foci of the Center and the Department.

The research foci of the Center are intended to define its primary research activities.  These foci are proactive and evolutionary.  As such they are intended to encourage faculty direction rather than define the research activities of individual faculty members.

The AEMRC Research Foci

  • Preparedness
  • Injury Control and Prevention
  • Translational Research
  • EMS

To enhance this collaboration both within the Department of Emergency Medicine and with other disciplines or institutions, the AEMRC offers a formal affiliation opportunity to interested individuals that will benefit from the collaborative environment of the Center.

The AEMRC welcomes faculty from other departments within The University of Arizona as well as faculty from other universities and institutions.

  1. A research history or clearly identified plan that is preferably consistent with the identified research foci of the Center.
  1. Approval by the Director of the AEMRC.
